Through these elements, the RAISE Education Trust’s professional development program stands as a model for nurturing talent and promoting excellence in education, ultimately benefiting teacher’s, support staff and students alike.
The program aims to provide a vibrant, inclusive learning experience that inspires and nurtures the unique potential of each individual, providing them with knowledge and skills to thrive and contribute meaningfully to our community.
Under the guidance of the Director of Professional Learning, the CPD program is designed to challenge thinking and inspire change in practice, ultimately enhancing student outcomes.
This cornerstone initiative supports over 30 ECTs and their mentors, fostering collaborative practice and a culture of continuous improvement. The recent expansion with four new Primary schools enriches this community.
Tailored leadership courses provide targeted growth opportunities for both aspiring and established leaders, helping them navigate the complexities of their roles while building on existing strengths.
Recognising the uniqueness of each individual’s path, the programme is not linear. It addresses specific needs within the community, informed by insights from the appraisal process, ensuring relevance and impact.
The program incorporates key research and exemplary practices, presenting them in accessible formats for all staff, making professional development engaging and applicable.
By cultivating professional learning communities across schools, the program encourages the sharing of best practices, fostering an environment of support and collective growth.
