RAISE High - Future Leadership: Developing the Next Generation of School Leaders

Effective professional development should challenge thinking through thought provoking learning conversations in order to bring about a change in practice and therefore student outcomes. Working collaboratively to enhance the professional development of our local partnership is a priority within the Trust. We want teachers to gain a better understanding of what great teaching looks like from Initial Teacher Training, to Early Career Teacher through to Senior Leadership.

Overview

Based on Michael Fullan’s book ‘Leading in a Culture of Change’, Future Leadership: Developing the Next Generation of School Leaders provides a unique opportunity for seasoned leaders to enhance their leadership behaviours and qualities, ultimately driving school improvement and personal leadership growth. The programme includes:

Structured Self-Review

Participants will assess and reflect on  their leadership behaviours and qualities to identify areas for growth.

Leadership Inquiry

Headteacher Stories

Peer Collaboration

This comprehensive approach aims to empower leaders to reflect, grow, and ultimately enhance their impact in their educational settings.
