The RAISE Education Trust Board
RAISE Education Trust is committed to maintaining clear and effective governance to ensure the highest standards of education and accountability across its schools. Our governance structure is designed to provide strong leadership, strategic direction, and rigorous oversight, ensuring that the Trust’s values of Resilience, Ambition, Integrity, Sustainability, and Excellence are embedded in every aspect of our operations.
The Trust is overseen by a Board of Trustees, which consists of individuals with diverse expertise in education, finance, business, and community engagement. The Board is responsible for setting the strategic direction of the Trust, ensuring financial stability, and holding the leadership team accountable for the performance of the schools.
Each school within the Trust has its own Local Academy Committee (LAC), which focuses on the specific needs and performance of the individual school. The LACs work closely with the school leadership teams to monitor progress, address challenges, and ensure that the Trust’s values and policies are effectively implemented at the school level.
RAISE Education Trust is committed to transparency in its decision-making processes. This includes clear communication with parents, staff, and the community, as well as the publication of key documents such as annual reports, policies, and performance data.
The Trust actively seeks input from all stakeholders, including students, parents, staff, and the wider community. This engagement helps to ensure that the Trust’s decisions are informed by the needs and perspectives of those it serves.
Governance at RAISE Education Trust is not static; it is a dynamic process that involves regular review and improvement. The Trust is committed to learning from best practices, both within and outside the education sector, to continually enhance its governance structures and processes.
